The Difference

What It Means to Train Here

Most coaches teach from what they've read or observed. Stacey teaches from what she's done. She has competed at the NBTA World Championship, stood on the floor at Miss Majorette of America, and earned medals at the Grand National level.

That experience changes what she sees when she watches a student. She knows which habits become problems at the elite level, which techniques hold up under pressure, and exactly what judges are looking for — because she's performed in front of those same judges.

Students who want to compete leave Shining Stars prepared. The alumni record at Penn State, Pitt, YSU, Akron, and Mizzou isn't a coincidence.

Coaching the Next Generation

Beyond the studio, Stacey coaches the Niles McKinley Majorettes and the McDonald High School featured twirlers. Her students see firsthand what a few years of serious training looks like on the field — and what's possible if they put in the work.
